Hi Everyone,

This is a new report on the just concluded 7th Arlington Chess Open,Arlington VA and also the
Quads that was played alongside the tournament.

This past weekend,I participated in 3 Chess events,I was playing in the 7th Arlngton Open, and
at the same time playing in a Quad event. The Quad event had 4 players playing a single round
robin, with a time control of 1hr for the whole game.

The first Quad I played in,it was a game in 45 mins, and the results can be seen at the link
below:- http://main.uschess.org/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,181/ the event was
played on October 20th,2007,at a point in time my last round game against Alex Passov 2032
was going on while I was playing another master at the 7th Arlington Open, NM Steve Greanias
2200,I had to go back and forth between the games, and I won both, some of the games at the
event will be posted after the mail.

The second Quad I played in was game in 60 mins, and the results could be seen on this page:-
http://main.uschess.org/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,181/ this was a little stronger
than the first one.The Quad also clashed with the final 2 rounds of the 7Th Arlington open,at
some point in time I was playing against Yand Dai 1937 and also at the Arlington Open IM
Lawrence Kaufaman 2392,I won both games.

Then in the last round of the Quad I was playing NM Phillip Collier 2200 and at the same time IM
Bryan Smith 2427 at the Arlington Open,I won my game gainst NM Philip Collier, and even
though my game against IM Bryan smith was a draw,I a much better position, and could have
played for a win, since half a point was ok to win the tourney,I offered him a draw which he
accepted, and the event was over,so the weekend of October 20th-21st,I played 11 games and
scored 10.5/11 against IM,'s and Masters, I do not know why I have such a strong appetite for
Chess right now,but what I know is there has been a different me since the Namibian trip,I have
an idea why,but like I said I will write about this in the near future, the final standings of the 7th
Arlington Open can be seen on this website:-
http://main.uschess.org/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,181/ it was actaully fun playing I
should say I ch ess tornament simultaneously, and also most importantly against some tough
Oppositions,but it was tiring though.

My next event will prolly be this one:- http://www.vachess.org/nova.htm and also I plan to play at
the National Congress in Philadelphia,November 23rd-25th,2007
http://www.chesstour.com/ncc07.htm also like I said in my earlier reports,I plan to play at the
Commomwealth games in India, there will be very good norm possiblities there, but meanwhile I
am trying to hit the 2400 mark USCF before the year runs out,and hopefully hit 2400-2450 before
the next Chess Olympiad.

Here are some pictures taken at the tournmanet this past weekend October 20th-21st,2007 and
some games are attached too.
