POWER OF LOVE
Love, the four letter word is going to be celebrated on this page until I have written my heart and my
soul. I will wring every drop of it out of my heart like a woman in African who just finished rinsing
her laundry and thus squeezed the fabric until every drop of water on them dried off.
Love, that someone declared to be blind in that the person that feels it cannot decide the direction
he/she wants it to flow, it flows towards whoever deserves it. It is the food of the soul and when the
soul is hungry it will find that special one that fills it up.
Love, although blind, has the capability of bringing unfathomed brightness into the life of the lonely
and the widest smile to the face of the sad. Love, ever so faithful and potent that it would make the
poorest man the richest soul.
Love, the most beautiful music yet to be replicated in this world, the music that is highly
appreciated by the terrestrial being, the valueless jewelry wrapped around the soul by God himself,
the best mirror that only see beautiful things.
Do we understand the ways of love? I fear not for if we do, the world would be heaven where
everyone lives happily, where the love will have for each other will transcend money, power, greed
and selfishness.
A loveless being carries the heaviest load for a heavy heart is heavier than the heaviest thing that
anyone could put on another’s head.
What makes a man kill, what makes a man commit suicide, what makes a man feel like the world
is a worthless place and its inhabitant worthless people? Lack of love, that’s what.
What would you call the story of Romeo and Juliet? A tragedy, for that is what my teacher who had
us read the story told us it was, not exactly that, he called it a tragicomedy
A tragicomedy it may be for an uninitiated soul but for those who know, the story of Romeo and
Juliet is the story of triumph of love over the prejudices of society. Those who know what love is
celebrate it wherever it is rooted. It is incapable of being condemned, it is incapable of being
ridiculed and above all, it is incapable of being disgusting. It is love; it will forever be a shining armor
for those who know that it is not to be directed.
The best gift anyone could hope for is love because it is the only imperishable gift. Diamond, gold or
any other kind of jewelry that had some value placed on it by man does not come close to the value
love possess, because love derives it’s value from God himself.
Words have always been said to be inadequate to describe the feelings that love brings. The
expression of love is not a battle of wit; it is a celebration of feelings that by its very nature is
indescribable.
For those who seek sex, it is the easiest thing to find. For those who seek companionship that
depends on the kind of company you keep, for those who seek love, keep seeking for when you find
it it would be the most valuable thing you ever possess and you will feel the power of love.
